We’re Truly Clean & Green

That means no artificial anything. Our ointments are comfrey-based in that each jar we pour contains the exact same concentration of comfrey. Comfrey’s active ingredient, allantoin, is a cell-proliferant, encouraging new cell growth. Myriad skin conditions require new skin cells as part of the overall healing process.

We Don't Use Essential Oils as Additives in Our Products

We use no essential oils, essences, or fragrances. Our infusion process literally ‘brews’ the plants’ medicinal benefits into our ‘tea’ of MCT and Greek olive oil. This ensures a full-spectrum array of medicinal benefits, rather than the ‘clipped’ benefits of essential oils. It is not just for our CBD ointments that we can say ‘The Entourage Effect lives here.’

We’re a Small Batch Shop, with Locally Sourced Ingredients

We’re not a ‘big box’ store. Our products are handmade by their very nature, in virtually every aspect of production: From growing to harvesting, drying to infusing, This means we cannot increase production by ordering a drum of comfrey essential oil, but it also means you know exactly where our products come from: right here on the farm in upstate New York.

And, We’re Catskills-Grown On Purpose

The Catskills offer a unique environment, as part of the larger NY Hudson Valley, represents the last example of glacier ‘grind’ in the United States, creating mineral-rich topsoil (though heavy in rock) that produces a receptive growing environment for small plants and herbs. The Catskills’ sun, soil, and water, combined with aged cow and horse manure is our growing environment. We are truly ‘clean and green’.

About Our Products

Storing your creams correctly can help them last longer.

While you’ll find any special care instructions on the product listing itself, in general, there are some key steps you can take to ensure your arnica, comfrey, and CBD creams stay in good condition. First, store them in a cold dry place. Excess heat, chill, or humid conditions can impact the creams and ointments causing issues. Make sure caps are secure when you’re done using your products as well. This keeps things as fresh as possible for as long as possible.

Our CBD is local and comes with an analysis of its contents — so you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin every time.

We grow our own CBD right here in the Catskills. In fact, we grow it in our upper pasture. While you’ll also find the CBD contents listed in each product description, all of our CBD products have a QR code where you can check the latest analysis of the CBD content so you know what you’re treating your skin to each time you order!
